The Conservation Policy chapter of Kiryat Ata’s Master Plan, commissioned by Kiryat Ata Municipality in 2014, includes a survey of Built Heritage, and focuses on the town's urban development during the 20th century. The survey superimposes maps and aerial photos from different eras to identify heritage areas and ‘Search Zones’ for future in-depth surveys. Conclusions drawn from survey’s collected data and analysis formed the basis for statutory regulations.
